Dr. Kamran Moosa is a distinguished figure in the realm of quality engineering and management, renowned as the Chief Executive of the PIQC Institute of Quality in Pakistan. With over three decades of dedicated service in this field, he has emerged as an experienced researcher, revered professor, international trainer, and trusted consultant.

A Member of the International Academy for Quality (IAQ), Dr. Moosa holds a special place among the global advocates of quality. He also leads the Quality in Education Think Tank (QiETT) at IAQ. In 2020, his remarkable contributions earned him the prestigious Ishikawa-Kano Silver Medal award from the Asian Network for Quality (ANQ), distinguishing him as one of Asia's foremost quality champions. Further accolades followed, including the Regional Productivity Award by the Asian Productivity Organization (APO-Japan) in 2021.

Dr. Kamran Moosa's commitment to quality transcends borders. He was the founding chairman and continues to be the Advisor of the Quality and Productivity Society of Pakistan (QPSP). His influence extends to the Middle East as well, where he served as the honorary Director of Research & Publications for the Middle East Quality Association (MEQA).

With specialization in Quality Engineering & Management, Dr. Moosa is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt in Quality, a Senior Member of the American Society for Quality, and an IRCA (UK) Registered Quality Management System Principal Auditor. Over his illustrious career, he has spearheaded various initiatives in Quality Assurance, Six Sigma, Lean Management, and Productivity Management, impacting numerous industries, including education, engineering, automobile, textile, defense, cement, and telecom.

His contributions aren't limited to practice; he's also an accomplished author with several books and research papers to his name. Notably, his books include "Quality Management Practices," "Practical Guide to ISO 9000," "Quality Control," "Students Quality Circles," and a chapter in the book "Implementing Quality Management in Asian and Pacific Countries" published by APO Japan.

Dr. Kamran Moosa's dedication extends to scholarly and editorial roles. He serves on the editorial/reviewers’ boards of the American Society for Quality and the Journal of the Chartered Quality Institute UK. He's been the Chief Editor of the magazine "Quest for Quality" of MEQA, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge in the quality domain.
